Sandycove is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland and is a well known popular seaside resort.

Sandycove is also home to the famous Martello Tower where the writer James Joyce once stayed as a guest of the poet Oliver St. John Gogarty. The opening scene of Joyce's Ulysses is set in the tower.
